Lucky Charms: A Religious Experience

At the risk of getting all Chuck Klosterman on you, I've come to the conclusion that I must deeply analyze the relationship of breakfast cereal and its itegral role in my life. Yet, I digress...

Growing up I didn't eat a lot of sugary cereals, because my mom was a diabetic. Therefore, typically, I ate what she ate: Cheerios and Corn Flakes. Occasionally she would acquiesce, allowing me to select Frosted Flakes or Fruit Loops [1]. However, my saccharine-filled adventures stopped there. Now, at 21, I am experiencing all the cereals I never ate as a child. Last week, I ate Lucky Charms for the first time. It is quite possibly the tastiest thing I've eaten in my life --okay...well, almost. Anyway I think I want to have its babies.

Up Next:
Count Chocula
Cookie Crisp
Life
Cap'n Crunch
Crunch Berries
Golden Crisp
Wheaties

1. Does anyone remember when Fruit Loops only came in three colors (red, orange, and yellow)? Every time I ask one of my friends about this they look at me as if I'm crazy. I distinctly remember when the colors blue and green were introduced. In fact, I remember the commericials for it.

I think you should became the cereal authority. it'd be a lot of work, but seriously, do you know a real good cereal authority? i don't. so step up and take over! to begin, you must eat a box of every single cereal on the wikipedia list. Just wikipedia "List of breakfast cereals."

that sounds like a whole chapter to go in a chuck klosterman book to me.
